Mariah Carey, aka de vrouw die ons favoriete kerstnummer ever zingt en achttien singles op nummer één had, is ook wel eens onzeker, over haar lijf bijvoorbeeld. Net als iedere andere vrouw.
Mariah vertelde het volgende aan ‘Sunday Times’:
I am a pretty insecure person. But I have to get over that because this is the reality of my life. I look better than I looked a few months ago, but I am definitely not one of those people who says: I look amazing today
Geheim dieet
We kunnen het ons bijna niet voorstellen. Mariah ziet er altijd geweldig uit en ontzettend veel vrouwen kijken tegen haar op. Toch is de zangeres bezig met een dieet, al wil ze niet zeggen welk.

‘I was so mad at myself’
Fair enough. Wat Mariah wel met ons wil delen, is hoe ze dacht over haar lichaam toen ze zwanger was van haar tweeling. Hint: niks positiefs.
When I was pregnant, I had a house with lots of antique mirrors on the walls, so as I walked around I couldn’t help but look at myself: this huge pregnant woman. I hated myself for decorating the house with all these mirrors. I was so mad at myself.
Ach, onzeker of niet, Mariah is en blijft een superster. En eigenlijk maakt dit menselijke trekje haar juist heel sympathiek.
